Nicole Fleurestil joined the Default Claims department at Wells Fargo Home Mortgage in 2008. She began filing claims and quickly moved into an auditor role. Now an AVP within Quality Control, she currently she manages 3 teams of Quality Assurance Analysts who complete testing to ensure policies and procedures are followed prior to HUD claim submission. She attended Des Moines Area Community College.
Nicole was adopted at the age of 2 and raised with an older brother who was also adopted. At the age of 16, she learned she had a biological sister and they remain close today. Nicole has carried these positive experiences throughout her life and has a strong passion for helping children.
Nicole resides in Des Moines, Iowa with her husband and their daughter. Their son graduated college and moved to Texas in 2017.
Nicole is an active member of the Central Iowa Diversity & Inclusion Council through her role as Chair of The Passport Series which seeks to enhance cultural comradery and competence among team members for the purpose of building global citizenship.
After her daughter was born prematurely at just 22 weeks gestation, she and her husband became involved with The March of Dimes Organization to support their mission of ensuring the health of all mothers and babies. She actively supports Holding Tiny Hands with the mission of providing support to parents of micro – preemies in the neonatal intensive care unit.
In her spare time, Nicole enjoys camping, cooking, sewing, pottery and enjoying time with her family and 3 big dogs; Zena, Primo and Nahla.
